Advanced Paving Company has been a key player in the North Texas region since its inception in 1996.

 

Originally owned by David Anderson, the company operated beyond North Texas, even handling rural highway projects in Kansas. During this period, David established a solid reputation by completing projects for various apartment complexes, malls, and other businesses in the area.

 

In 2002, Sam L. Garrett acquired Advanced Paving and strengthened the business, successfully navigating the challenges of the 2008 Crisis by shifting focus to municipal work, ensuring the company's existence, despite having to downsize from its once larger size.  During his ownership, Sam L. Garrett completed many high profile projects across the DFW area; such as Southfork Ranch, Southern Methodist University, Gilley's in Dallas, Victory Plaza, Hulen Road in Fort Worth, FEDEX Distribution Facility in Hutchins, and several projects at Amazon Fulfillment Centers.

 

After Sam's retirement in 2024, he sold the business to his son, Sam Spencer Garrett, Eric Anderson, and Trent Dagen; all three long time employees of Advanced Paving. Since the transition, the new ownership group has enhanced the company's efficiency by investing in new equipment and expanding the team slowly, but effectively. Advanced Paving continues to collaborate with communities such as the City of Fort Worth, City of Arlington, City of Midlothian, and City of Waxahachie, while also maintaining strong relationships with various North Texas businesses.

 

Today, Advanced Paving proudly upholds its 30-year legacy of delivering exceptional pavement services to the communities and businesses of the North Texas region.
